Criminal Investigation
The main role of the prosecutor is to investigate criminal cases and determine whether a person should be charged with a crime. The Prosecutor will prosecute the defedant when there is sufficient evidence to prove the defendant’s guilt. Alternatively, the Prosecutor has discretion to issue non-prosecution or suspending prosecution according to Article 253, 253-1 of the Criminal Procedure Act.
